Andrea To Speak at Community Forestry Conference

Join us at the 2014 Partners in Community Forestry Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina, Tuesday, November 4th.

People from around the country will gather in Charlotte to discuss the current state of America's community forests.

Andrea Torrice will be part of a Continental Dialogues Panel discussion on media, "Using Videos and Documentaries as Community Engagement and Education Strategies." She will show clips from some of her past and upcoming films. The dialogue will be from 10:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. on November 4.

Trees in Trouble Film and Community Engagement Project Awarded Two Grants

We are pleased to announce that the Tree Fund and the Stephen H. Wilder Foundation are supporting the Trees in Trouble documentary and community engagement project for post production and creation of educational materials for community engagement. Trees in Trouble explores how communities can respond to invasive pests like Emerald Ash Borer. The anticipated release date of the film and community engagement materials is Spring 2015.

Art As Action Project and the Denver Art Museum

This summer we are working on the Art As Action women's film project for the Denver Art Museum as well as producing videos for myactions.org, the coolest online environmental organization for youth and students. We are also working for the Social Ventures Partners of the greater Cincinnati Area.
